Boom Media Global, Inc. CEO travels to the Dominican Republic for R&R Getaway

CEO at Boom Media Global, Inc. Edwin Jacques was one of a select group of business owners invited to an exclusive industry getaway in Punta Cana.

On November 1st, Edwin Jacques of Boom Media Global flew into Punta Cana for a four-day island getaway and industry award ceremony. Alongside some of the USA’s most successful sales and marketing entrepreneurs, the CEO checked into the Paradisus Palma Real Resort – Home to turquoise waters, white sand, exotic gardens and sophisticated award-winning accommodation.
The four-day getaway commenced with a dinner at Punta Cana’s only Michelin star restaurant, offering all invitees the opportunity to reconnect and discuss the business successes of 2018. Day two hosted the much-anticipated award ceremony, with accolades on offer for Promoting Business Owner of the Year, Rookie Owner of the Year, Comeback Business Owner of the Year, Most Improved Business Owner and Business Owner of the Year.
On Saturday, attendees were invited to spend some downtime on a private island by catamaran, complete with a floating bar and beach BBQ.  After the adrenaline-fuelled Award ceremony, this provided attendees with the much-needed opportunity to get to know each other and strengthen networks in a more relaxed, informal setting.
Returning to Boom Media Global Inc’s HQ on November 4th Mr Jacques was reflective on the importance of travel within the sales and marketing industry, and committed to offering as many opportunities for his workforce to travel as possible moving into the New year.

It helps to develop stronger communication skills, opens a person up to understanding and connecting with different cultures and perspectives and can help people to embrace the unknown and cope with unforeseen challenges with a clear head.
